A little about me:
I’m passionate about creating a safe, supportive space where individuals and families can explore life’s challenges, build resilience, and experience meaningful growth in their lives without fear of judgment or condemnation. With a strong foundation in community-based services and mental health support, I bring a compassionate, holistic approach to helping individuals, couples, and families.
Before pursuing a career in social work, my background included years of work in faith-based settings, where I had the opportunity to walk alongside individuals and families through seasons of growth, hardship, and transformation. This experience instilled in me a deep respect for the diverse beliefs, values, and worldviews that people bring into the therapy room. Although I no longer work in a pastoral role, I recognize the importance of spirituality for those who wish to integrate it into their healing journey, and I remain equally committed to working with clients from diverse faiths, backgrounds, and perspectives. These unique experiences, combined with my Midwestern background, guide me in ensuring that clients feel safe in their thoughts, emotions, and doubts. My goal is to create a safe and inclusive space where your story is met with compassion, understanding, and respect.
Each individual’s unique experiences are crucial in understanding the root cause of the concern. In my work, I believe in the power of collaboration with you. I meet clients where they are, honoring their pace while offering practical tools and gentle challenges to help them move toward their goals. Whether our time together involves exploring patterns from the past, developing new coping strategies, or learning to reframe unhelpful thoughts, I aim to make each session meaningful and tailored to your needs.
